You may cancel a sale at any point before it is completed. Cancelling a sale deletes the record and makes it unavailable for further processing. If a sale is denied by NICS National Instant Check System, it must be reported as a denied transaction; do not cancel a denied sale. Canceling an application is not a reversible action.
